Marvin Ritchie is a Principal with Mirus Capital Advisors and brings over 20 years of experience in the financial advisory business. Prior to joining Mirus, Marvin worked at bulge bracket and middle market investment banking firms. He started his career in the leveraged finance group at Bear Stearns & Company and eventually moved on to Adams, Harkness & Hill, working in its healthcare group.
Marvin has closed over 40 transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, high yield financings, public and private financings, recapitalizations, and restructurings. He has experience in the healthcare, technology, software, manufacturing, business services, consumer products, and real estate industries. In addition, he has advised numerous clients in specialized areas of business enterprise valuations, equity and equity option valuations, fairness opinions, income tax planning, financial reporting, asset divestiture, tax reporting, gift and estate tax planning purposes, and in merger and acquisition situations.
Marvin earned his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his BS from West Virginia University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Marvin is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and a FINRA registered representative with Series 7, 63 and 79 certifications.
Marvin lives north of Boston with his wife, three sons and daughter. He enjoys movies, camping, and golf with his children, as well as coaching their sports teams.
