Kate Soto
Partner
Kate Soto is a Partner with Mirus Capital Advisors and has over a decade of experience in mergers and acquisitions. She has advised over 40 clients on transactions in a variety of industries. She has closed deals with global medical equipment companies, middle market and multi-billion dollar private equity firms, family offices, leading technology companies and others in the consumer and industrial sectors. Her clients have ranged from closely-held and founder-owned businesses to public companies.
Prior to joining Mirus, she was employed by a middle market investment banking and valuation firm where she managed M&A and financing transactions. In addition, Kate has prepared valuation models and reports for clients, including 409(a) option valuations, purchase price allocations, and business enterprise valuations for purposes such as estate planning and litigation.
Kate was named a “Top Woman Dealmaker” of 2024 by the Global M&A Network. She received a BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Management with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics. While at MIT, she worked as a research assistant for a business law professor. She is a Certified Valuation Analyst and holds Series 7, 24, 63, and 79 certifications from FINRA.
Kate lives in Amesbury, Massachusetts with her husband and children.
