Mirus Advises Aztec Technology Partners on Sale of McDowell, Tucker

Aztec Technology Partners Sells Dallas-Based IT Outsourcing Firm

Aztec Technology Partners (NASDAQ:AZTC), a leading single source provider of information technology business solutions, announced the sale of McDowell, Tucker & Co. to a group of investors, including the former management team of the business. A technology resources company providing software programming and systems consulting expertise, outsourcing, and recruiting for the Enterprise-wide Resource Planning (ERP) industry, McDowell, Tucker was never integrated with the rest of Aztec’s businesses, and has been sold in order to allow Aztec to pay down debt and focus on its core business.

McDowell, Tucker, founded in 1989, was formed from two enterprises that provide IT staffing services. The company provides programmers and analysts on a contract basis and recruits engineering talent domestically and over seas for placement on IT staffs in U.S. technology companies. McDowell, Tucker has clients in 30 states, and its forte is hiring qualified, experienced software professionals from worldwide resources.
