Sean Sundstrom

Sean is a Partner with significant experience in the technology, media and telecommunication (TMT) sector where he has led transactions in the software, outsourced services, digital media and marketing, and ad technology sectors.

He has substantial US and cross border sell and buy M&A, divestment, fund raising, private equity and corporate development credentials with large and mid-market firms and leading private equity groups.  He has closed divestments for EDS, Cable & Wireless, Dow Jones, Control Data/Welsh Carson, and Océ N.V.; managed buy side projects for Thales, Welsh Carson and Stefanini IT Solutions; and negotiated the sale of companies to EMC Global Services, Descartes Systems Group, Sungard, Keane, Platinum Technologies, Projekt 202, MatraCap, Redwood Software and The Gartner Group among others.

Sean has spent his entire career with middle market investment banks. He previously was a Managing Director with New Century Capital Partners, a co-founder and Managing Director with Overture Advisors, and held senior management positions with KPMG Corporate Finance and Regent Associates, where he established and ran Regent’s US office in Boston.  He began his career with Broadview Associates, the investment banking boutique that was acquired by Jefferies. He holds a Series 79 certification from FINRA.

Sean is a graduate of the American University of Paris and earned his MBA at the George Washington University. He is fluent in French and English.
