Creative Business Concepts Acquired by Richton International Corp.
Irvine-based Creative Business Concepts Inc. (CBC) has been purchased by a New York computer networking and consulting services firm, Richton International Corp., the companies said Thursday. Mirus Securities represented CBC and brokered the transaction.
As part of the all-cash deal, privately held CBC will be consolidated with the Costa Mesa office of Richton’s subsidiary, CBE Technologies.
The Richton International Corporation is a diversified services company that completely reinvented itself in the early 1990s. For decades the company was dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of jewelry and irrigation products, serving irrigation and landscape contractors and golf courses, as well as the general public. In addition, Century sells outdoor lighting and decorative fountain equipment. Richton recently purchased CBE Technologies, a fast-growing technology group that provides computer network consulting, design, and installation; network management and support; technical-services outsourcing; hardware maintenance; and some equipment sales.
“Creative Business Concepts is the ideal west-coast addition to CBE Technologies,” said Drew Lally, Managing Director. “CBC’s network operations center in Irvine will provide our national accounts with fail-over protection for their critical business systems, with management out of both Massachusetts and now California.”
