Waterville Valley acquired by Boothcreek
Pursuant to a settlement with the U.S. Justice Department over anti-trust concerns, American Skiing Company has sold Cranmore and Waterville Valley to Booth Creek Ski Holdings, Inc. for $17.2 million. Mike Krongel advised ASC on the sales.
Booth Creek Ski Holdings, Inc. now operates 4 resorts in the United States including Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort and Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort in California.
Waterville Valley Ski Area, in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, includes 12 lifts serving 52 trails on a total of 255 acres, as well as a Nordic Center with more than 50 miles of trails.
