Globalware Solutions Inc raises $30 million from Mezzanine Management Fund III
BOSTON, MA December 17, 2001 – GlobalWare Solutions recently closed a $30 million equity financing, advised by Alan Fullerton. GlobalWare is a leading global provider of software contract manufacturing and e-market solutions, based in Haverhill, MA. The purchaser of the securities was Mezzanine Management Fund III, one of Europe’s largest private equity funds. GlobalWare intends to use the proceeds of the transaction to finance working capital, as well as to make strategic acquisitions in a consolidating industry.
“After researching several investment banking firms, (Alan Fullerton’s group) became our obvious choice,” said Jim Bartlett, CEO of GlobalWare. “They demonstrated a clear understanding of our business to identify the most appropriate equity firm.”
“Now that we have worked with (Alan) and successfully completed our equity round, we are even more impressed,” said Maria Muise, GlobalWare’s CFO.
Allan Fullerton, the investment banker who worked on the transaction, praised the vision of James Bartlett, GlobalWare Solutions CEO. “Jim and his team have grown GlobalWare Solutions to a lead position in high-value outsourced services for the software and electronics industry.”
