While unemployment remained low at 3.6%, consumer confidence experienced a slight decrease from March. Public markets saw a significant decline, and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine continues to drive global turmoil. Inflation slowed somewhat in April but remains a concern as it is at levels that have not been seen in the past 40 years.
