ComCept acquired by L-3 Communications
ComCept, Inc., a systems engineering contractor specializing in networking, modeling, simulation, and systems integration, has been acquired by L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL). Alan Fullerton, a partner at Mirus Capital Advisors, was the advisor to ComCept and its shareholders on the transaction.
Founded by the former Chairman of E-Systems, ComCept’s strategic position in battlefield network architecture gave it strategic value well above its financial value or the expectations of management for near-term value growth. L-3 Communications/ComCept Division, is a rapidly growing Systems Engineering contractor, specializing in architecture requirements and software development, modeling, simulation, communications, and systems integration.
