February 2025 Middle Market Monitor

Mirus is pleased to share our thoughts on recent market activity in our February 2025 Middle Market Monitor. The economic indicators for January 2025 looked a lot like December 2024. Unemployment rates remained steady but consumer confidence continued its decline. The U.S. public markets finished the first month of the new year with positive growth, while continued optimism surrounding U.S. middle-market M&A activity was reflected in increasing U.S. middle-market M&A transaction volume in January.
