September 2024 Middle Market Monitor

Mirus is pleased to share our thoughts on recent market activity in our September 2024 Middle Market Monitor. Economic indicators were mostly positive in August, with the unemployment rate declining slightly by 0.1% and the Consumer Confidence Index rising. The U.S. Public Markets recovered nicely after a rocky start to the month, picking up momentum as inflation slowed and federal rate cut discussions reached a fever pitch.
