Greg Fanikos

Partner

Greg Fanikos joined Mirus as a Partner in 2023.  He has 20+ years of experience as an investment banker serving domestic and international mid-market clients in a range of end markets, including specialty materials, food/nutritional ingredients and industrial businesses.  Greg has executed sell-side programs, capital raising efforts and acquisition searches for family-owned companies, public corporations and private equity backed clients.  Over the course of his career, Greg has closed over 40 transactions for clients with an aggregate value in excess of $2 billion.

Prior to joining Mirus, Greg worked for Alantra LLC and its predecessor firm C.W. Downer & Co. executing transactions ranging in value from $25 million to over $250 million.  Greg played a lead role in executing mandates on behalf of clients, including leading marketing efforts and assisting in the negotiation of definitive agreements.  Greg’s experience also includes working as an investment banker for Tucker Anthony Sutro (now part of RBC Capital Markets) and providing valuation and transaction support services while employed at PWC.

Greg holds a BA from Harvard University in Economics and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.  He lives with his wife and family north of Boston.  Greg’s interests include European history, cheering for the Patriots, downhill skiing and keeping up with his two very active children.
