Mirus Advises Lookout Associates, LLC. on Sale
Mirus Capital Advisors (Mirus) announced that it has advised Lookout Associates, LLC, an operator of a ski area located on the Idaho/Montana border, as well as a bicycle touring operation, on its internal sale. The bike touring operation rides a 15-mile rail to trail path that includes tunnels and trestles formerly used by an early rail line serving the Western US. The ski area, located upon United States Forest Service land, is well known for its powder skiing and long season.
Lookout Associates, LLC engaged Mike Krongel of Mirus to sell the business and assets of the company in March, 2016. Mike’s extensive contacts in the ski industry, and his reach out to investors, resulted in a significant number of prospects with full price offers in a relatively short time period.
As a result of this activity, existing partners elected to proceed with a buy-out of other partners to move Lookout Pass Ski & Recreation Area to a new level of competitiveness and proceed with a new MDP approved through an EIS with the USFS.
