Roper acquires PMC/BETA
In 1998, Roper acquired Massachusetts-based PMC/BETA, a developer of piezo electric vibration monitoring devices, and combined it with Metrix (which Roper acquired in 1995), further increasing and strengthening its process control product line. Mirus Capital Advisors represented the management and shareholders of PMC/BETA on the sale of the business.
Today, Metrix operates in over 40 countries and is a Limited Partnership of Roper, a $2.8 billion diversified provider of engineered products in analytical instrumentation, industrial controls and fluid handling.
